I showered and crashed last night and slept in, knowing I didn’t have class today. Then I made myself a decidedly American breakfast. Scrambled eggs with cream, tomatoes, gouda cheese (I think), American-style bread, toasted with French jam, Clementine juice, coffee, and my green vitamin drink.

Made plans to meet two friends tonight for dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant qui s’appelle Le Saigon d’Antan, dans la sixième arrondissement – mon quartier. (More window shopping along the way!)
Speaking of window shopping… I passed by a store that sells carry-on luggage. I may need to make a purchase before I depart. Lol! The airlines really penalize you financially for having luggage that’s overweight. I arrived without a carryon, so I think it’s worth the $50 investment.
It’s fascinating to me how all of my social media ads have switched to French – audio or written – they’re all French now. I’m being tracked! In case you ever wondered if “they’re listening.” They are!!!
My last week of B1, and I have to say I will miss the daily routine, but I look forward to the new class and temps-libre pour explorer des autres activités. The timing is working out nicely because the typical tourist attractions in Paris will be nicer au printemps!
À tout à l’heure!
