We worked on new phonetic sounds today. Oh my!

J’ai mal à la bouche.

Honestly, I’m forgetting how to speak in any language. We spend a lot of time in class making SOUNDS. Lol!

Before class, I enjoyed a nice run in le Jardin du Luxembourg. I enjoyed un café allongé afterwards as I walked home. I’ve really gotten to know my neighborhood, so that must mean it’s time to start planning my trip home. <Le Sigh>

Yes, sadly, I have booked my flight home already. I knew the time would fly this time around, so I’ve made it a point to really enjoy every day. It’s been another amazing stay here in my favorite city, and I have a good amount of days left to fill with activities. No tears, yet.

Email yesterday from Alliance Française – Il y aura une grève le 19 janvier! I also received word from the U.S. Embassy in Paris to expect transportation interruptions and maybe some demonstrations. They’ve happened before when I’ve been here and usually last for a day. Stay tuned.
