What a beautiful day here in Paris! There aren’t many blooms yet, but the sun is shining, and spring is in the air.

This morning I was more than charmed and pleasantly surprised when La prof came into class and showed off her Converse sneakers to me! Then, she asked me to re-tell my Converse sneaker story with the class (the one I’d written – see the last post, I think) What! Wow! That was so cool, and unexpected, and I was super proud to be able to tell my story, without any notes!
Then we continued learning about those pesky pronouns en & y, especially where they happen more than once in a single sentence. We also played a game utilizing all the pronouns, and had a lot of laughs. The group really came together in the end. So yes, a big review today of Le/La/Les, Lui/Leur, y & en.
For all intents and purposes, today was our last day in B1 class because tomorrow, class will be online. Why? Well, there was a strike scheduled and it was called off or settled, but it happened too late for the school to reverse its decision. Bummer. So, everyone treated today like it was the last day, in that we said our good-byes and took a class photo. La Prof even joined us for coffee during la pause. (I’m thinking there might be a lot of absences tomorrow. Lol!)

After class, J and N and I went to a local Chinese restaurant for a delicious lunch. We three made plans to get together next week and into the next semester. J is taking next semester off from French because she said she just needs a TOTAL break from it. La prof said it’s actually recommended that three (3) consecutive semesters be the max for anyone studying French because one needs time to process all that they’ve learned. Bingo!

À tout à l’heure!
Looked like a very good class, happy that you enjoyed it.
Loved those bears have to get one to go with my collection, ha! ha!

Salut, Wendy! Je suis désolée pour répondre en retard.
The class was tough (they all seem to be!), but a good group in the end to be sure.
Merci!!!
