I didn’t even realize it was Monday today. I awoke early, and decided to do a little digital sketch on my IPadPro.

Hours later… my quick little digital sketch got more involved. It was a nice way to spend the morning, when I thought it was Sunday. Lol!

There is a one-time cost for the app: $9.99.
I didn’t bring any of my art supplies with me to Paris. I usually work in pastel, and they’re not portable. First of all, they take up a ton of space, and then of course, they’d break in transit. So my creative outlet on this adventure has mainly been photography, with the plan of painting from the photos I’ve taken once I return home. (I did buy myself a miniature Sennelier watercolor set at Giverny, but haven’t opened it yet.)

I’m still the kid in the class that has a full pencil case: 4 different color highlighters, various mechanical pencils, bic pens, that fancy pen with 4 different colors in one.

And then I have several black-paper journals — one my husband gave me, which I filled. And two that are notebook sized. I keep buying the metallic pens in all the colors.

OK, I did the grocery thing, and made sure I’m ready for tomorrow’s trip to Versailles. I have to get up pretty early because I have to Métro over to the meeting spot by 8am. First ride has 6 stops – change platforms – next ride has 2 stops, and a short walk to the café, where I will definitely buy a coffee. J’ai hâte!
Gosh, I really thought it was Sunday, and I had another day for chores, homework, drawing, etc. lol!
Anyway, tomorrow will come early, so I have to go.
À tout à l’heure!
Votre dessin est charmant et les couleurs sont si pittoresques pour cette belle région.
